This is my very first truck custom and I cant say it turned out all that great. I know its missing some small detail things but there are a few I have questions about. First off, does anyone have a picture of what should be on the roof for running lights, horns, etc. ? It just looks bare right now. Second, what side should the exhaust stack be on? Its temporarily hooked onto the left side because it seemed to look right but it can be moved if it needs to be. If anyone has some pictures of one set up similar to mine they would be appreciated, I am unsure about parts of it and what to detail paint. A preview of my first completed sprayer trailer minus most of the tanks. Added a rear hitch, truck seems short? Austin

I like the steel bud rims, i use them on some of my grain trailers. I don't think it looks too bad, maybe some new front rims? You can go to peterbilt.com and look at the pics they have of the truck for the lights.

Austin, this truck uses the same cab as the the 379. The stack should be on the passengar side. The cab lights also have the same pattern as the 379's. Dual or single horns would be appropiate. Sean

Here is what I think I am going to do to the truck:
1. move exhaust to other side 2. replace rear white buds with silver ones 3. add air horns and roof lights 4. paint front lights 5. paint the steps silver
The rear pull hitch is just a couple pieces of I-beam. One piece served as the vertical (should have made it longer) and the other piece had one side trimmed to make it into C-channel and then glued on with the C opening down.

Looks pretty nice to me. My suggestion would be paint the grill inserts. Really makes it stand out.

Looks good. On a singe stack the stack should be on the passenger side as a general rule.
