Well I did some customizing on my 8010s and my 8120. I put them on the bottom halves of 7088s. It is a quick way to add steering axles and raise-able feeder houses. I know that they are not quite right for the 8010s but they are close enough for me. It was actually pretty simple to do. 8010 8010 8120 My son was really wanting to help out. My daughter has taken over my work bench to scrapbook with my wife so that is why I was working on my display. My bench is a disaster. ;D Questions and comments welcome.

So, what are you planning on running for combines now? They look really good. Will it be the 2 8010s, the 8120, and 2 7088s?

Cool little trick! The only thing I see wrong is that the rear tires hit the body when they turn but thats not a big deal at all.

Those look great Clayton!! Thats comming from a die hard Deere man. I would have never guess that they would have fit on the 8010's and 8120's. I know all about the little ones wanting to help. Garrett has to go down to the toy room everytime I do. But hey what we do with out them? Keep up the good work!!

Cool little trick! The only thing I see wrong is that the rear tires hit the body when they turn but thats not a big deal at all. I had to go look again after you said that. It must have been the angle I took the pic because they don't hit. They sure look like they do in that one picture though. ;D They hit the frame on the factory 7088s.

One of Rallen's first words was tractor. ;D ;D I got him a bunch of tractors for Christmas so maybe he won't try so hard to get mine. He is a little rough on them yet. He is only 16 months. I hope to make him his own little display board in a couple years for his toys.

Clayton, I had never thought of putting an 8010 body on a 7088 detailed machine, brilliant!! I'm now going to have to get a few more 7088s as donors! John
