I recently got the 1/64 JD DB120 48Row cornplanter by Spec-Cast. It is a great model with very good detail. It measures to be 22" in working position and takes up plenty of room. It has handrails, and a detailed front hitch with many other things. It also needs much horsepower and goes well with the JD 9X30 series. In the box it has enough padding to stay together but offers an good view of the planter. The back of the box has a great picture of the planter with a 9X30 series. As you can see it doesn't have row markers. In the pictures above you can see a couple of rows fold up for a shorter transport. It has great detail. Note the handrails and pin hitch w/ chain and hydraulic. Spec-Cast also made a DB90. This variation has a fertilizer tank. That's a lot of planting! As you can see this would make a great shelf piece or for a Corn-Belt display.

Thats a really, really nice planter! If the new red ones were not coming out this spring, I would pick one of these up. I also like your nice open stretch of carpet there. Looks like fine land to put in corn with that planter!

I got one this summer when they were released. It was given to me by my JD dealer instead of the normal hat or coat when I bought my J&M grain cart. Very nice toys and they are built plenty heavy. My only complaints about it is that I cant fold it all the way up because the tires hit the bar and the fake cylinder isn't even close to enough to hold the planters hitch up

I got the 36 row when they first came out, (no fertilizer tank). After I saw how big it was and difficult to do display pictures. I told my self 36 rows is it. I'm not getting anything bigger.
Nice planter though, will do nice for the big corn farmers.
