There was a fad on here a few years ago for paper building exteriors, does anyone remember where those came from? or what the deal was there... There is (was) also another company online that had paper buildings, I had the link but it must have been on another computer, anyone know who I am thinking about?
I have this 36" long building I really want to finish the roof on in an economical and easy-ish way.

I know a few guys just found a tin pattern on the interweb and then just made a pattern and printed it off high res. I always wanted to try it but never got around to it. Seems like it would be cheap and might look good.
You've got a good camera I'm sure you can find some tin on a building and take a few pictures of it. Let us know if you try it and how it works.

www.modeltrainsoftware.com/ this is the download i used to print siding tin and rusted tin for my buildings it takes a little getting used to. the dimensions are not quite rite when printed but with a little time and fudging on your dimensions it works pretty good. I was happy with it. just make sure you use photo paper in the printer it works better.
