Western Hopper Flat

Not sure if this better belongs here or in the trucks section but here is the Western hopper flats I build, the sides come off and there are inserts that set over the hopper bottoms for flat bed use.
These started as styrene and wood outside frame trailer kits that I modified and added the hoped bottoms, removable deck panels, and top section to

Not sure, to my understanding they are primarily used for dry commodity one way and totes or pallet loads the other. I could try to figure the capisity of the one I built but I know it wouldn't be a whole lot

it is a cool build, and you did a great job with it, but I bet the real one costs as much as the two trailers separate

I looked and for a used 2012 hopper flat is 28,000
