I seen someone else post some harvest pictures, so I guess I can post mine to. Later on I'll upload my gopro videos once I get around to editing them. I really didn't take a lot of pictures this summer, after so many years on harvest you kinda run out of stuff to take pictures of A lot of the pictures are really low quality, I wasn't being a "photographer" this summer, and just took quick pics haha.
Here's 2 months from Kansas back to Montana in pictures.
First couple days in Kansas we got about 5 days of rain, and a bunch of dust storms.
Waiting to dry down. I was laying on the ground to take these pictures, that's how short the wheat was. Anything over 12" tall and you where in a bumper crop. I'm not intending to put down the farmers, they're doing very well to even have a crop, the whole area we where in is in a major drought, and hasn't had any significant moisture in 3 years. Lots of farmers had their farm wrote off this year.
Daily dust storm rolling in.
Finally rolling!
Only for another storm to roll in a few days later...
The picture doesn't do it justice of how nice of a scene this was.
Moved into Colorado with some moisture. This was about a 50-60bpa crop. It was very nice cutting.
My rig.
Turbo went out on one of our service trucks on moving day...
Picking swaths in northern Montana.
I think he's full (He was going to the bins a few miles down the road, we normally DO NOT load our trucks like this)
Why even wake up to go to the field some days...?
Racing
Dusty windshields make such nice pictures...
First barley of the year, was nice to cut something above 60bpa. This stuff was doing around 80-90 and was dryland, real nice cutting.
Doin a little truckin'.
That's my American harvest in pictures.
