Doing a Fuel & Service bed was one of the first things I wanted to do when I started looking into 3D printing, then I started seeing what it could do so I wanted to push the norm a bit and see if I could get the doors to open also to add a bit of realism. The good new is it WORKED! Each side, along with doors in printed in high detail so it is printed in a single piece with movable parts. I increased the tolerances in the doors a little bit after getting my first pieces just to make painting easier. You do still have to paint in light coats though. It is a really easy kit to assembly, just glue the sides on an paint. Kits are available to buy here: The body: shpws.me/z6iOThe sides: shpws.me/z6iM

That's pretty sweet. I hadn't even thought that someone could do that.

I have received a few messages asking about these and I just wanted to throw it up here that I have no plans to build and sell any completed kits right now. You either need to make your own or find someone else who is willing to build and paint for you. :-)
I am focusing my time on designing more goodies right now and there is a lot of stuff coming. I just put an order in for 6 more prototype first runs today of various things and am starting concept work on another service bed.
