If I was more computer savy I'd have already done these but being as I'm not I'll give you guys the idea to roll with, just remember where it came from please.
How bout making some standard steel 8 lug wheels like Dodge, Chevy, and Ford all ran in the 60's 70's 80's and 90's on their 3/4 and 1 ton trucks do a set with a full floater rear detail, a set with a lockout hub front and a set with just a little bearing cap for trailers or 2wd trucks. The biggest thing to me that would help sell them is make them to accept Ertl ram tires cause from that point with very little modification a person can use Johnny Lightning, M2 machines, and other available rubber tires with them and use them on a wide array of projects without a person needing to design more wheels. Also using the same concept of being able to use Ertl and other brand rubber tires do a 8 lug spoke "wagon wheel" that was a common aftermarket wheel on pickups and are on a lot of trailers still. Again this is just a idea that I can't believe no one has done yet even with the appeal to more than just the scale farming market.

I've got some truck tires in the works but they are kind of on the back burner since I have some items that have a bit of a deadline.

Are you referring to wheels like these? (Pics from google images) Personally I think tractorfab's new trailer wheels would look pretty good on some of those older trucks tractorfab.com/products/306I'd probably be willing to make some and put them on shapeways if I were supplied with some images and a few dimensions. Right now I'm pretty busy with other projects and getting a new website made so I don't really have time to have them stocked and painted.

I might be able to make some of those. Some of the details are awfully small like the lug nuts and the lines in the GM rim where there's no weld, so I don't know for sure if they will actually show up in the print or not.
