Looks good! I have always liked those small frame 4wds. How rough of shape was it in? Sad to see such a nice custom like that neglected.

Looks good! I have always liked those small frame 4wds. How rough of shape was it in? Sad to see such a nice custom like that neglected. It was rough, rough, hinge was warped, paint was chipped, and handrails/ mirrors were all missing

Lookin Good! I really like the looks of that series III steiger in the last picture, is that a Panther? The Steiger III is a Bearcat, but I think the one your asking about is the Steiger CP1400 Panther by Brian Long

I like the detail of the steiger but on this topic. What is the difference between custom and scratch built? Just what is sounds like, Customized is when you start with an Ertl, or something, and detail it, and scratchbuilt is just that, you start from scratch with brass, or styrene, other stuff, and build something. In this cast it i a hybrid because Mr. Seveson scratchbuilt the front end of the tractor, narrowed the an Ertl rear end. Then when I got it here broken, I customized it further be changing the tire, wheels, and re-detailing it.
