Cut down the stock one to fit

You definitely got a good clean cut on those trucks, I can't see any marks or anything where they were cut down.

Tony, what do you use to strip the paint from toys before you repaint them?

Tony, what do you use to strip the paint from toys before you repaint them? It depends on the piece, some I use acetone others I use lacquer, and the stubborn paint I use spray can aircraft stripper. As for plastic components I just scuff and clean with soap and water. These 2 I just soaked in acetone overnight once I had them torn down

Cut a section out of the stock chassis and glued it back together

Hmmmm. Im gonna have to try and build one. Ive wanted to build one since that style of truck cane out. I already have one failed attempt under my belt:)
