Well you would take the original wheels off, and then grind the ends of the axle flush and your outer duals just kind of ride on the edge. Generally I will cut new axles when I make mine. I like to use 3/32" rod and then I will make some bushings for my wheels. I use some 1/8 OD tubing, glue them into the inside of the wheel and then drill the inside of the tubing to 3/32".
