With the addition of the custom cutting fields that they are taking one this years for others, it was decided to pickup a corn head for the 8010, the local dealer found a lease turn in 8 row 30" for last years stock. JW's dad would have never imaged the need for one combine, let alone 2 for running corn in their farms lineup. Over at CRR, the Johnson's have made it home, from their place in Colorado, and had Tommy, and Mike get the old school tillage equipment ready to work under a quarter section of CRP ground, that has been used for nothing more than letting Caleb graze some sheep for the last 5 years. Getting the 7520 started was a bit of a chore, but the bigger job was jockeying stuff around in the shed to dig out the plow. JW stopped by to show off the new head, and to find out what all the squeaking noise was, Mrs. Johnson came from the house to see what the mischief the boys were up too.
