We have almost finished up planting but it still hasnt dried up from the last big rain and then it rained again last night so, I got the chance to go ride with my brother-in-law in their planter. He is currently running a CIH 9250 with a 24 row White planter (2006 model?). He used to run a 9130 but he didnt have enough power and if you watch the videos you will find out why.
Anyways, this is what I first found after the long drive out to the middle of nowhere;
Fertilizer and seed tenders
Then I started wondering where the planter was, turns out he was at the bottom of a draw in the oppisite corner of the field
Big field, cant see the dust in the picture but he is out there
Finally found a place to hop in with him and... here comes my ride

I didn't get to many pictures from in the cab because I was to busy talking with him about the planter and GPS systems, I was surprised how accurate his GPS was going through the hills. The neighbor cant do that good with RTK on flatland.
He only uses the markers once in a while to make sure that the GPS is staying on course
Ran out of fertilizer with about 3 passes and the headlands left so I ran him up the fertilizer trailer and then went back to get some more pics.
Lots and lots of hoses and wires
After he got filled up I asked him if I could drive up the field a ways so that he wouldnt have to stop and let me out, he said sure so I drove up the draw to get some good pictures.
Here he comes
Here is a small part of the draw, this camera has a hard time capturing terrain heights
Finally he gets here, I do apologize for the shakyness of the video but I freehanded it as I do not have a tripod

A teaser pictures of what is to come this year
Let me know what you think, Austin
