First of 2016 Corn in the Ground (Early Farms 144)

We have been out making some finishing passes with the Sunflower for Planting, Katy was out putting some fertilizer down on pasture ground while the stock is out on wheat pasture.









The big news is over at CRR Professor Johnson was the first one in the county to have his boys put Corn Seed it the ground. While he was headed out to see how Mike was doing, he seen The McGinn's parked, and stopped to shoot the bull.





Professor McGinn said he had had just finished plowing his last 1/4 section, and had his wife bring him some fuel.



Professor Johnson Got the the field just at the right time, as Mike was getting ready to make the turn, so Mike stop to see if the Professor needed anything.

That red dirt is truly awesome, I have to ask how do the yields compare to the iowa silt like soil?

The grass looks real nice. I'm guessing most of it is static but the pasture looks like it might be something different.
