Spring has definitely come early here in Alberta. Lots of years there is still snow on the ground this time of year. The grass is greening up and the trees are starting to bud out. I thought I would share some pictures of getting the air seeder ready for seeding.
Here's our tractor. Its a Case IH 9270 that we bought new back in 1993 and have been using it to put the crop in every spring ever since. Its been a very good reliable tractor.
Here it is hooked up to the 40ft Morris.
We unhook the tank from the cultivator and keep it inside over the winter. I use the little Case 1294 to pull it out of the shed and over to the cultivator to hook the tank up.
Here it is with the tank all hooked up. There's still some work to do on it just replacing some parts and such. Will be seeding about 3000 acres of wheat, canola and peas with this unit. Its not the biggest or the fanciest but it works good for us.

Thanks for the comments. Ya the 1294 is a handy little tractor. It's also been a pretty good tractor but i guess it doesn't have a whole lot of hours on it for being a 1984 model.
