Things are starting to slow down around the farm now that corn planting is done. Now that corn planting is done we are onto the 200 acres of edible beans we have. They are planted just like corn so we are basically using the same setup. Here is the planter and strip-tiller infront of the shop getting ready to plant beans. Inside the shop we are getting all the hay equipment ready, changing oil, replacing worn out chains and sprockets, etc... We are getting all the cattle out to pasture. If it doesnt start raining some more we may not have enough pasture to last the summer. Out in the field the 9530 is running pulling the field cultivator and packer which will be followed by the strip tiller and planter. We have been busy spraying all the wheat stubble. Here is the 4850 and strip tiller in action They got the swather ready and hit the field, this should be a pretty good first cutting. After the hay equipment was out of the shop i decided to put the combines in to get them ready to head to kansas. Hopefully they have a much better crop then texas and oklahoma had... Thats all for now, comments and questions welcome.

Nice journal. The first cutting of hay was really good here. It got rained on but still made a lot of bales.
