We all lived thru Thanksgiving with only a mild Turkey hangover. JW had his 40th birthday on saturday. and has been complaining about being old ever since. Doc Stone stopped by, and picked up a wagon of second cutting for his show Rams, as JW was getting ready to head out to work a half section under before we got rain to trap the moisture.
JW was out hitting it hard when he saw Melissa pull in the gate. So he shut it down, because the only time she comes to the field without calling unless it is real bad news. She said now she was just here to to help cheer him up, and by doing some plowing with him.
Over at CRR, Professor, and Mrs. Johnson went to Texas to relatives for the holiday, while they were gone, Mike, and Tommy were asked to start cleaning equipment, and put it away for the winter. Mike has taken a part time job with Blagden Towing to make some extra money for Christmas. So he had to bring a truck home.
