Kiser Farm: Winter work

With the year coming to an end. The Kiser farm is getting some field work done. As rain is supposed to come in for New Year's day.

They got out the Massey 1100 with the scrape on it. There they cleaned out the terrace outlets on the fields. Over time they get worn down or clogged up and need maintenance. This way the terraces can properly drain and prevent erosion.




To work the terraces. The Massey 1130 comes in with the plow. Usually 1-2 laps is all it needs to help build them back up.




Back on the farm. Winter chores is to feed the Black Angus they raise. The Massey 3120 on the loader and Massey 699 on the haybuster takes on this job. The cabs are nice for this, since they are fed during all kinds of weather that winter brings. Also the Bull who thinks he is the "Bull of the Woods" was doing his usual "challenging" the Massey.

Frick yeah man! I've been waiting for this. Better be careful though, might try and steal that 1130 from yah. Can't wait to see more!

Good to see a post from another North Carolina based display, hopefully I can get mine together and start making journals!

Thanks, I don't have time or the space for my large displays I used to run. So I thought I would try this small one, using a brand you don't see much in action. This way I can focus more on the details in the display and story. The big part is I have the space and time to do this one.
