Dropzone picks up a new toy

Well the boys at Dropzone finally picked up their "new" wrecker project back from the bodyshop the deal with the wrecker is they purchased the 4500HD chevy from a insurance auction with a blown motor and body damage so the boys got er cheep and built up a 24valve 5.9l Cummings mated to a fresh Allison. Once that was installed the boys hung some replacement sheet metal and sent it off to Homan Autobody for some fresh paint and now its back home for some new graphics and finish work before being put in service.



A couple days later JR got back from his Oklahoma run with the truckster and the real reason for the OK run which was to pick up Double Duce Farm/ Dinsdale Construction's new to them Mack R that will be getting a new Powertrain and some other goodies if Paul's kid has anything to say about it being as he thinks that Paul got it just to pull his repowered/ rebuilt IH that was last year's FFA project.

Whats the digging next to the shop for? New Drain Field, because that let JR's Dad use the bath room?

The digging is to finish reconturing the ditch after the new culvert and driveway was installed as for the reasoning behind the 5.9l was that they have 4 long blocks that are built as torque monsters for pulling trucks in storage at any given time so it makes sense that both their new trucks have them.

Yep but Cummins is the most common conversion and you can get bug numbers for little $

Yes I know, and its been duplicated numerous times, I actually killed that one to transform it back into a Crown Victoria wagon and will us it in some future journals

so that's what happened to it!, ill let the guys over at b&e know what happened.XD also, according to the Wikipedia page, its actually a ltd, not a crown vic. whatever happened to that ford truck with the busted chassis?

The "broken frame" l9000 was actually one I was stretching to build into a fire truck and happened to pull off my bentch to use as alternative subject matter for a display jornal before setting the chassis leingth and setting it permintly, here is what the truck is now,
