We have been staying busy around the farm. The 1st cutting of alfalfa is done. The second cutting is coming along nicely already with the moisture and cool weather. The trucking division got a new 389 Pete and spread axle Wilson pot. Here it is leaving the yard for it's first run.
The Pete dealer had a Nice 04 W-900 with an N-14 in it. We had been wanting to get another truck to pull hoppers and such so we ended up with it too. It was a fuel hauler that never left the pavement so it was nice and clean. We also picked up a belly dump trailer. We got a contract to haul some rock and ice control sand in the winter. Here they are coming home.
One of the Mack's will be on the belly dump for now. It is in the shop getting set up.
We have finished planting the milo now. Here are some pics from earlier in the week of planting action.
My father in law lost his 535 baler due to fire on Monday.(really happened) So I loaded up a tractor and baler and went a baled his alfalfa for him.
I thought I would try out the new KW.
Balling his hay.
We have also started working the conventional tilled summer fallow. The 9503 and 535 are on fallow masters and the 900 is on the Flex King v blades.
Sitting in the yard ready to roll.
The crew has finally started cutting down in Oklahoma. The yields are in the 30 bushel range right now. They are really happy with the 7088s so far. On Friday they called for another truck. They were getting into a little better wheat. We sent the new KW and a hopper down to help. Here it is leaving the yard.
That is all for now. Questions and comments welcome.
