The Girls got back from there Horseback Retreat, just in time for the start of this years calving season, Katie, and Mel have been checking the herd 3 times a day.
So far there have been no major problems, but they did cut out, this first time mother Hereford, because the Longhorn mother in this pasture likes to steal calves.
With it still being wet Lynn figured it would be a good time to roll his hay field.
JW had been working on one of the Neighbors Grain Trucks that is having issues with the Hoist, when Werner came rolling in with his newest purchase off Craigslist, JW asked are you going to leave those graphics on the nose. Jeff said heck yeah, "we are the Redneck Pirates, and we what people to fear us". To which JW replied' "When your on the Lake in your cut off jeans, and wrangler shirts the people are already scared".
Over at CRR, When Mrs. Johnsons got home she was happy to see the pile of Bees Wings were gone out of the yard, but she asked if after he put the Motorhome away, could Tommy do something about the residue.
Then she noticed the Big Cat in the yard, and was wondering if the Professor had bought himself a new toy while she was done. Mike said no he has been moonlighting for Red Dirt Dairy, to help save for the wedding.
With Lost Lakes Tanker still on the farm Tommy used it to wash down the rest pile out of the yard.
