JR was on the way north from a run to Mexico of used farm equipment, on the return trip he has a VW pickup thing for a collect in Des Moines. When about 20 miles south of OKC, he lost about 50% power, and was blowing blue smoke, so he called Jeff Werner, and ask who was a good repair shop in the area? Jeff said if you think you can limp it another 100 miles, just bring it to JW's shop.
After a quick look under the hood it was real easy to see he had lost a turbo. JW said it would take him about 2 days to have him back running. JR stated that this VW has to be at the collectors, restorer by Wednesday or he would loss money each day past. Jeff said with Katie in Europe at a horse show just use her tractor. JR ask what would that cost me, Jeff said just have your Dad's shop give it a fluids change, and then bring it back. JR replied thanks that will be great there is only one problem, the VW doesn't run the put it on with a forklift. JW said if the problem was created with a forklift we will solve it with one.
They got it all loaded up, and JR was ready to hit the road, but Mel insisted if your stealing my daughters truck the least you can do is say for dinner, besides that Pete will have you home three times faster than that Binder.
Over at CRR the Professor called the boys, and asked them to dig the Chopper out, and make sure it, and the old Ford are ready to go, because when he gets home next week, he want to start chopping corn. They were getting it done, when Lisa came out to tell them Dinner was ready. Mike joke she was falling right into this house wife thing, to which she responded no pie for you.
