Has anyone ever used foam board for a base on your display? It would be a small 18x24 shop display mainly for taking pictures on and I was wanting to keep it light weight. It would be the 3/16 foam board also. Thanks.

I've used it before and works well. Just be sure to have some thin wood base on the bottom to keep the foam from cracking in half.

If you're talking like beadboard I can't help you there but if you're talking like the pink or blue foam board insulation talk to Chris Steeb he's the man, he doesn't use wood reinforcement uses just straight styrofoam
