JW, and Jimmy Red, are head to an Auction a few towns over, however Mel cornered him about the fact that the Farm didn't need any thing new. He headed over to Jimmy's to meet up, and head out.
5 hours late Mel came running out of the house ready to skin JW, when she heard the Detroit Diesel of the Yard Bird start up. He headed her off at the pass assuring her that all he bought was a Winchester .270 for Hesston to have when he is big enough. But Jimmy got a haul.
Over at CRR Professor, and Mrs. Johnson are going with the Payne's to their place in Colorado in the Mountains for a a couple of weeks to get out of the heat. This time they borrowed one of Werner's Jeeps to run the fire trails with them.
Lisa, and Mike have been working on second cutting. Lisa caught Mike as he was going out to rake.
Down on the Dairy, Larry, was loading up their toys for the trip, as Tommy informed him Jeff had got them a load of Mill Screenings for free, and would be bringing them tomorrow.
Jeff came in the drive, and asked Tommy where we were dumping it, Tommy commented on the sharp new rig.
Over at Jimmy Red's the week started off bad when he was on his way to Walmart, and the Old Cummins died at an intersection, and he had to have Jory's boys tow it home.
But then the week got better, when he ran back to town, stopped by the bank, and found out that both his Tribal Casino, and Well dividends had been deposited, just in time to go to the auction. Ben, and JW convinced him to put most of it in saving, as the last two he bought the New Ram 3500, and the Deutz. But they did let him set back 10K for the auction just in case, besides at a farm auction how much trouble could he get in with that amount. As they were out taking picture of the spare vehicles to see what they had to trade the salvage yard for the Cummins parts they need.
When they got back to the Farm Ben about passed out when they came in the drive, all he could say was how much, but before Jimmy could answer JW shouted out he got all this for $8900. so I guess we need to have another barn addition party. To which he jokingly replied to we get to keep the Yard Bird, and Werner's Trailer to haul it all to the junkyard.
