"Hot" (Early Farms week 321)

the main job of everyone has been trying to stay cool, with temperatures have been staying over 100 during the day. JW has been hauling extra water out to the stock. The Chief also stopped by to see how the Old Ambulance was coming along, JW said he ordered the parts, but at it's best it may have 1 year of frontline service left in it, and that we need to meet with the board, and seriously take a look at replacing it.





Over at CRR to beat the heat Lisa decided to throw a pool party with the Johnson's still in the mountains.













Down on the Dairy, Tommy was out checking on the yearlings, when the service tech stopped by to check the milk chiller.







Over at Jimmy Red's he was out keeping his critters alive in the heat as well. His biggest worry is the chickens, and goats.

Awesome Journal is always, Jimmy red must have been burning his garbage in that third the last photograph being as I see smoke between the trees, he better be careful doing that with the heat.....

Really enjoy your pics and stories. A side question.... l know you had a oil well pumpjack on one of your displays quite a while back. Was you the one that was building oilfield trucks and equipment also? l remember somebody on here building winch trucks, frac tanks and pulling units but I can't find them anymore. Was that you and if not, do you know who it was?

yes I have two displays with pump jacks, 4 or 5 Gin Pole winch trucks, Frac tanks, and an Oilfield maintenance company
