This week in the town of Redlands, with the Rain being still on, and off, and with the Memorial Day Weekend plans, it has been busy, but not much farming is getting done. At Early Farms, Chris, and Jeff prepared for the party on Sunday by picking up supplies. Thursday, we had a decent storm with tornado warnings, but after it passed the sky was beautiful, and Dawn's and Jeff went down to the river to make sure the overflows were not blocked up. Saturday we planted flags on the Veterans Grave Sites, and went on our annual bike ride. And Sunday we had the yearly party at Jeff's house. Over at Jimmy Red's Ben found a collector of Ford's to buy his Old trucks, so he could get some cash to put a down payment on a new one, wanting something more dependable with the baby on the way. He was a little surprised to see an attractive young lady driving a beautiful restored Mack Superliner to pick them up, turned out to be the Collector's Daughter . At the Thin Blue Line Stables, Connighar pulled over that same "Ertl Executive" from Iowa, that OSU PD pulled over last week for illegal window tint, Brian didn't give him another warning he through the book at him. Happy Memorial Day, we should be thankful for all those that gave so much, so we can do what we want.
