Lots of red combines in Colorado.

My wife went to Denver over the weekend and she took some pics for me. This farm is out east of Byers Colorado on highway 36. I remember going by it a long time ago and they had a big line of IH's then too. She said there were 16 of them. They are all 6088s I think. I don't know how much he farms but about anybody that has traveled 36 knows about this farm.








He also has some buffalo.

I saw this rig when I was hauling fuel today. I have always wanted a picture of it. I didn't have my camera so I used my phone. I think it is a sweet looking rig. Plus it is the only red air seeder in our area.

This is one of our spray rigs leaving one of our fuel stations.

Nice set of pictures. That is an insane amount of combines for one farm. That grain bin setup in the backgroung looks as big as some elevators around here.

last I heard that ole boy with the combines runs about 40,000 acres. He also hires around 5 custom crews. I talked to a guy off of one of the crews a few years back. He said the guy took him to a field, gave him a hand full of red flags and said cut as far as you want one way, plant a flag, turn, go as far as you want the other way plant a flag and cut a square. the cutter cut out a square and cut for 4 days straight, got that done cut out another square, cut for 5 days and on the 5 day came over a hill and met another crew. The other guy said they had been cuttin for 10 days and the first guy was the first machine he had seen since he started. Some big farms out in eastern CO.
