Phillips County Wheat harvest pics.

Well I went out driving around with the family this evening and caught some wheat harvesting going on. A few guys are going. I would guess it will really take off on Monday or Tuesday.
I saw my uncle Don running his 1460.

These guys run an R-75 and a 7720. They mainly use the 7720 so they can windrow some straw to bale then they put it away. The rotaries just chew the straw up too much to make a good bale unless it is really heavy long straw.



This is the guy who farms next to my cow pasture. He has one of the nicest 7720 Titan 2s that I have ever seen. It almost looks new.




This was our other neighbor. Out working his disaster.

Nice pics, just curious but why is the R72 for sale or do you know any info about it?

I don't know for sure. I think it is a guy who used to custom harvest. I don't know if he retired or if he got a different machine. It looks to be really clean. If it is the guy I am thinking of he takes pretty good care of his stuff as far as I know.

Good to see wheat harvest in full swing. Up here our wheat is just begining to head out. What happened to your neighbor that is working up his field?

It is just a mess that he never gets anything planted in. If he does it doesn't amount to anything.

that r72 is Levins in Ktown, they've been trying to sell it for a year or so. they replaced a whole fleet of them with 9870s I think.
