During the week of Thanksgiving and also into the next. The tractors been at it drilling in wheat or barely. Sunday following Thanksgiving we got a good rain that day. About 3 days later we got back out to finish up our drilling. By Sat we was done with that. Temps for the last week of drilling was brutal. Lows in the high 20 to low 30, highs in the upper 30s. Seat Ranch: Micky is on the Case 1270 drilling. After the 1370 did its tour hauling soy with the gravity wagon during harvest. It is now on the drill to help finish up. Come grain harvest the 1370 won't be on tour hauling the gravity wagon. Usually the 1270 with loader does it, but it was down for repairs. Wehunt Farm: They roughed out the cold this week. They really had to bundle up to keep warm during drilling. Here is the Moline G1355 working away. Being open station Thomas was doing what he could to stay warm. Here is Jim on the Oliver 2255. He too was fighting the cold to get done drilling. Heavner Farm: The 4440 works away to get those fields done. Finally the 7430 showed up along with a new drill to go with him. The dealer tagged along for the first field. To get me used to the new controls and how to set it up. After a few good laps. We shake hands for a good deal was made, and he went back to the dealer. "Call me if you need help on anything", I loved it when he told me that as he left. Taking on her very first field. Used to the 4440 was the farm's biggest tractor. Now the 7430 took over the spot at 140HP, while the 4440 had 130HP.

Nice journal. The Wehunt boys better get a weather brake so they don't freeze their rears off. ;D
