The Start of Wheat and Straw Harvest

He only had around 19-20 acres of wheat ready to cut so we jumped on it. It was making anywhere from 40 to 70 bpa at 13-14%. We got 41 bales off of the field and the patch behind the trees. The day we cut wheat we had some people from Washington State that were visiting Hannibal for the week stop by and ask if their 6 year old son could have a ride in is favorite brand of machinery. ahaha Dad took him for a few rounds around the field. It really made his and his parent's day. Sorry I forgot my camera the first day and had to use my phone. I also didnt get any footage of combining yet but we have a bit left so Ill get a harvest video up soon. I did get a bailing video.

Nice to see wheat harvesting. I've always been under the impression that all rotaries are difficult to bale behind, do you find that true? Your bales look really nice. Is RWA very popular in your area?

It seems we are running around with our heads cut off. Im leaving now to plant some more beans.
Yes every combine I know of has RWA. Yes rotaries are awfully hard on straw. Thank you for the complement on the bales lol
