Ive been thinkin bout getting a case myself and painting em up in the Hayward Fleet colors........ As of some background history of the VT's. Released in late 2005 as 2006 models, only available with the Volvo D16 engine (also now the new Mack MP10) with 1000 cubic inches with over 600HP. There were 3 model options, VT800, VT830, VT880, with the VT880 being the best seller. The VT880 is the hi rise double bunk with 2 side windows, the VT830 is the midroof with 1 side window, and the VT800 is the daycab. The VT series was more focused on O/Os and was also the first straight hood truck available by Volvo. This series is going to be soon discontinued with the last year of production being 2009 due to low sales. Here's a pic of a VT800 I caught in West Virginia. Sean

IDK. I like them but yet I dont..... Its just the look.... I mean they are a slick lookin truck. Kinda like the Lonestar. Look like almost more of a over the road truck or elevator truck then a farm truck.

They would be a little fancy to take out in the field. The macks and older trucks will have more field duty. These will load out in the field and haul to the terminal most likely so they will get more road miles.
