Well we have been on the lookout for a forklift for a while. Its kind of a pain to have to go get the skidsteer whenever we need to move something at the shop since its at our house. Also tears up the wheels bad by runnin it on the cement. So in this economy we all know some businesses are goin under. We heard that a local lumber yard will be going under in a couple months so we went and looked at their forks. Dad knows a guy there and he told us they were sellin em.So dad hopped in the truck with grandpa and away they went. Found this unit and made a deal on it. It will be delivered early in '10 (really becuase its gonna be a chirstmas present) b/c the company will still need it. Its primary use will be movin pallets of seed, unloadin the box truck, and other odd jobs. the skidsteer will still be used for other jobs and where the fork cant go. Will come in handy movin duals arount too. All in all should be a nice asset to the farm.
