Picked up a few things in town

Hey everyone,

We’ll try this in journal style tonight so here we go:

Dad and Grandpa went into town to pick up a few things and go to an auction. Grandpa saw a few things he though we could use, Dad found a few things too.

Here they are coming back home.


Here is grandpa driving dads pickup, pulling into the yard.

Let see what we got today:

A lathe, bought at auction for a good price. Just have to find room in the shop!


Dad got a lawn mower and a trailer


Picked up a fertilizer tank to use for a garden sprayer that dad hopes to build. Also found some old wagon wheels to decorate around the house.


Grandpa bought 8 barrels. Not sure how they will get used, he probably isn’t either.


We also needed some new scoop shovels so dad picked up a few.

Grandpa was eyeing the wheels on a truck chassis for our tandem White 7000 grain truck, going to need a little help getting this one off.


Getting in position and hitching the chassis to the dozer, then pulling the chassis off next to the shop where it will stay until we get to it.





We also picked up a small disk to use on the MF 65 for grandmas garden. Dad brought the massey over to pull it off and parked it next to the mower.

Nice journal. It looks like you found some good stuff. That lathe is pretty cool. I think I saw some of those truck frames like that on ebay. Keep up the great work.
