I just recently bought a 1/64 pink steiger and thought it was just a run from ertl, but then I found out that there was a real one. My question about it is what is the story behind It? Why was it built, when was it built, what was it built for? etc. thanks for the help.

The story I heard was a large farmer wanted to get a new tractor. His wife told him he could only get it if it was pink. So he worked out a deal with Steiger and they painted it pink for him. That is a story I have heard anyway.

I think it was one of the past issues of Toy Farmin they had a pic of the real pink Steiger. It almost looks as good as the green.....except for the whole fact that its.......pink, lol.

That is a story I have heard anyway. I do remember reading that. He put rainbow colored tanks on it too. I'm planning on doing that to one of mine soon. Shawn Telaak
