I posted this on TTT a while ago and wondered what you guys thought of it. When I get a photbucket account, I plan to post some pictoral progress for you guys.

Mid Kansas Farms LLC farms 9754 acres spread out 45 miles accross Rice, Reno, Barton, Stafford, Pawnee and Edwards county with the home headquarters in Ellinwood. 1253 acres of it is cash rented, 1300 is in a 2/3, 1/3 share with the Landlord Milton Meyer. The rest is owned by the Mosier Family.
The crops are mainly, 5000-Wheat, 1000 in full season beans, 2500 acres in double crop after wheat beans, 3150 in Corn, and 604 acres in Sunflowers. The farm runs 41 Irrigation pivots with 35 Valleys and 6 Zimmatics. The Farm hires 3 full time hired hands and 4 part time hired hands that come out full time in spring, summer and fall. The Acreage is split into a basic 1/2 conventional till, 1/2 No-till.
The bins consist of 3 50,000 bu. and 2 80,000 bu. bins. All of the contracted grain goes straight from the field to the Coop but the non-contracted Crap goes to the bins until it is sold when the price is right. Unless of course, The grain needs to be dried down, Which rarely, In Kansas, Happens.
