I just bought an ertl dairy barn, and I'm so disappointed in it. none of the body panels fit right and many other things. I've been collecting ertl stuff for 15 years and have never seen such low quality in their product. It might just be a one time but I just want to see what other people have experienced with the buildings. I also called to day but got an answering machine so I'm going to try again tomorrow. Thanks for reading my rant lol.

Tim,
since Ertl went over seas, in my opinion......take it with a grain of salt their work has gone down hill. I think in the 80s-90's when they were in Iowa that was their prime time. I had some trouble with their 2nd released two story house, dairy barn, and grain leg. Pieces didn't easily snap together, or one or two pieces missing. The dairy barm set I had problems with the feedbunk the holes didn't like up, and the holes for the tye stalls didn't like up either. I'm disopointed too with the House and Dairy set you dont get what you did years back like vehicles, people, backyard items, a silo and that feed bin. Now it seems like these days of custom buildings, and S scale buildings no one doesn't really have much use for the low detail od Ertl buildings.

I feel the same way Im just got to have to keep custom building my own buildings. I called to day and the lady I talked to pretty much said it happens some times and just return it if I don't like it lol. Well Im going to paint it and some other stuff.
