During the winter. The farms are busy, but not like during field work times. They have their normal feeding chores and farm chores.
Also this is a great time to get some projects done in the shop. Specially to restore that old equipment or just some fixes to do.
Gilbert Dairy:
During the last harvest the clutch was messing up on the Loadstar. They manage to keep it going during the harvest run. Well now its a good time to do it.
Here is the IH TD15 outside. It is getting new hydraulic hoses put on. Due to the weight and tracks they work on it outside. Since they a worried it might bust up the flooring in the shop.
Heavner Farm:
Ever since I was a kid. My first Semi truck ride was in a Mack. Not just any Mack, but the vintage famous B model. After long searching, I finally found one. I am restoring this baby to use for hauling light loads with. And to take to shows. It will make a great tractor hauler when I take some of my vintage tractors to shows.
Wehunt Farm:
They been working on a Moline Vista for someone. Since being around those Olivers and Molines since the farm started. They are experts in this brand of tractors.
Seat Ranch:
They just got a new H&S hay hauler. Here is William putting gas in the DC. Before he puts it up.
They just landed a contract deal for the next few years with the Seagle farm. They have 1,000 acres of grain they grow each year. The Seat Ranch got the deal to bale up their straw. So with that much more baling added. They got a nice Large Square baler to use. Here is West End Agco dropping it off.
With this new baler, they will need more HP to pull it. The 1370 almost can, but it is too busy during harvest to have it baling too. They been wanting one since it came out. But at that time they didn't have the land for it. Now they do, and finally found one to have. Here is the farm going over their Spirt of 76 they are restoring. It will be on the big Hesston baler. Also in the shop is the hay fluffer. Getting the gear box worked over.
