Old school combining.

My friend Mike's Dad has been wanting to get his old 40 out and play with it. There was about 50 feet of soybeans that were really green when they cut this field. So Mike had to leave them. Once they dried down Don got the old 40 out and cut them. It is in really good shape for its age. I wish I would have known they had it out I would have liked to caught some videos of it. I told them they need to get it and the 8820 in the same field so I could get picks. ;D

lmao, only don would have the patience to get that thing in the field. I bet Mike was just shakin his head. That is cool though. I've always wanted to restore an old combine, I've been buggin Staples to sell me that old super 92 of davids for a few yrs now. How in the world are they going to unload it, the auger doesnt look high enough to get over any trucks that I can think of.
