The last week of 08 was pretty good here in north central Kansas. We had mild temperatures which was a nice change from the extreme cold snap we had a couple of week ago. The Case IH dealer delivered the 2 new 7088s. Bye bye to the green machines. Here is the first 7088 rolling in. Here it is parked in front of the shop. We were looking it over. The 9760 is heading out. A couple hours later in came the second one. And out went the 9860. They came and got our header trailer and took our old headers and brought our new headers back. This is the first time in Minkler Farms history that there are no Deere combines on the farm. We are looking forward to wheat harvest to try the 7088s out. Only 6 more months. ;D Minkler Farms Trucking also got them an end of the year purchase. They bought a Talbert lowboy and a Mack Granite. The Mack will usually be on a grain trailer. The Lowboy will be pulled by one of our over the road trucks. We are getting into some heavy hauling. We have had some implement dealers that have asked us to haul some equipment for them. Plus it will be nice to have the trailer if we need to move our own equipment. We got it off of an KDOT surplus sale for a fairly reasonable price. It is in very good shape also. That is all for now. Questions and comments are welcome.

Man, those 7088s look good, don't they? Nice journal. I'm sure the farm will like the new ones.
