Do not get me started on all the breakdowns we had this year. In the first 80 acres we spent over $5000!! And that was about a 6th of all our breakdowns this year. This was the year that all the older equipments' original parts all failed at once and we replaced alot of parts! Should have another one of these in about 15 or so years.

lol thats what i was gonna say...our 1440 cih broke down on the first pass....$1500 in filters oil gear oil and odd things, the second pass we broke the big drive belt $300, then on the 3rd the whole inside of the combine was replaced from the shakers to the ground lol every bearing pulley and finger was replaced $5000 and alot more but hopefully our old equipment will last another 10 years....5 if my boss still owns it...lol

These are pictures of others mishaps that I have either taken or a relative has emailed me, not necessarily muddy but still stuck: Missed the turn in Wing manged to lower itself and catch the bridge Mexicans attempt at pulling a pickup out, poor idea after 7" of rain Thats all I have. I hate to rub it in on you guys but we made it the whole year with almost no breakdowns all through harvest, lost a spreader on the combine after the gears fell apart.

ever herd of puting the safty pins in? ? They are a fold over center style of wing which in reality should not require them. The best idea anyone could come up with is he bumped a lever or something similar and that caused the wing to go down.

We rarely get stuck on our farm, but my grandpa drove a 1666 combine in a pond once. It took a Magnum 7110 and a Steiger Wildcat III ST210 to pull him out. The funny thing was once we pulled him out, he drove back in, and we had to do the same thing all over again.

Well atleast you knew exactly how to do it the second time. It was funny because my grandpa told my dad, "It's your fault I got stuck because you didn't spray those weeds, and they held water."

My buddy sent me this picture yesterday. They are working on terraces and apparently found a wet spot.
