Well we have been staying busy on the farm. Tending to the cows and hauling water take up a lot of time. In a couple of weeks the heifers will come in to start calving so we will have feeding to add to the list. We got the 7088s put away for the winter. The big shed is full.
We got a call on Friday from one of our truck drivers. He said his truck wouldn't do anything but idle. He figured his electric throttle was bad or his ecm was going out. Luckily he was only a couple of hours away unloading fats in Lexington NE. I had Hutch put the new Mack on the lowboy and haul it up to Randy. He had another load he needed to go get yet today. Here the Mack is getting loaded.
On the way out.
Here they are getting ready to swap trucks. Randy already had his unhooked and ready to load.
Randy is getting hooked up so he can get rolling and get his other load hauled. While Hutch loads up the Pete so he can haul it home.
At home unloading to go to the shop.
Here is Randy pulling in with the Mack later that evening. He said the Mack is a nice truck but he will be ready to have his Pete back.
On Saturday we ground some hay. It keeps the 2 7810s busy feeding that grinder.
We were also feeding cows at the same time. The TMR is being loaded. The 4440 is staying busy since the feed truck is in the shop.
The shop is staying busy also. The feed truck has been having some scale issues. It is in the shop getting some new load sensors put on it. The Pete is in getting the electronic throttle replaced. James is putting a gauge pack and chip on his new Dodge. The Kenworth truck is also in for a service.
Questions and comments welcome.
