moldboard plowing yes rare i know

so i was at my boss' sons new house and we decided to roll over the ten acres of horse pasture and make good use of it so here is my 2009 magnum 180 and deere 5 bottom plow

thats not rare on our farm i cant wait to sink the 3 bottom JD plows in the ground on my 806 in about 4 months when that happens i know spring and warm weather is hear

well here in central ohio its is rare but i like seeing my ground getting rolled over every now and again as my dad has a 65 e cat challenger and a case ih 700 8 bottom onland the he still runs 300 acres under it a year which is half of his corn stalks and all his wheat stubble

its just 155 pto horsepower its just that this tractor looks almost the same size as my 305 magnum

yeah id like to do more on my farm myself as i like the results of the stalks rotting underground over winter for next years beans

Chris nice set up, we pull a 5 bottom plow with our mx 180, nice tractor for pulling it..

yeah its nice especially with the shuttle, shifter, 3point and first remote all on the throttle handle yours might do a hair better withe the 8.3 cummins it has as mine has the 6.7 cummins
