The parents have been gone this weekend so I've been taking care of the farm until they're back. I always love staying by myself when I get the opportunity. We have 2100 head in the feedlot right now, 700 of which are on our 1200 acres of wheat pasture. Most of the calves are in the 550 range right now. We've also been busy getting equipment ready for next year. The 9760 and 9330 are ready to go with the 8650 and 9870 in at JD for winter service. The 8410 has to just wait it's turn The neighbor is demoing a GP Vertical Tillage unit. Dad wants to run it over some ground we spread manure on.. Another perk to being in charge. i1036.photobucket.com/albums/a444/treymo8650/Winter10010.jpg[/IMG]Once we get settled down a bit, we'll start hauling corn and beans out. Random feedlot pics from the "mosier mountain" Part of the feedlot crew. The highloaders are helping in the manure crew.... Our decal. We've been hauling rock and lime back from Marion constantly lately. Hauling manure when we can. The cleanest these will look for a long time...... Trey

whats up with the side of that combine.. Ive never seen a non- Bullet rotor have something like that by the air breather?? This is an earlier 60 series. It's an 04'. Dad wanted to get a later model when they came out with the bullet rotors but went ahead and put Deeres aftermarket option on it. This combine has so many dang updates on it that it's closer to a 9770 then anything. It tries to keep up with the 9870. Trey
