This has been a project I have been wanting to do for a while. It is a replica of my buddies truck. The reason I called the post Tonka is because he used to have personalized license plates that said Tonka. It is a 1976 Ford with a 428 that runs on propane. He overhauled the engine a month ago or so. It is tough. It has 35 inch ground hawgs on it and a hydra bed bale bed. He has been driving this truck since 1989 or so. He said he has lost track of how many times the odometer has rolled over. The real one is getting pretty rough and he plans to put a new body on it this summer so I decided to make a model of the original. I plan to get picks of the real truck to show with the model sometime this week. If things go as planned that is.

I made 2. I am going to give one of them to him.
