That grain cart is a Bourgault, a Smart Cart 750 (750bu). Real nice cart, the only thing I'd change is the hydraulic drive for a pto drive. But that'll have to wait till I can find a pto for the 9330.

Is your 9330 a bareback? Ours has the 3pt hitch and pto on the back.
That's some nice equipment.

Thanks guys on the compliments! We're running 4000 acres currently. This is my in-laws that I'm farming with, my parents farm is 5 miles down the road. The farm is a registered/certified seed operation, and we're also cleaning the seed we're growing. Dan, our 9330 is a "bareback". While you run across the odd pto model you never see a 3 pth on anything bigger than 150hp round here. The only mounted equipment guys running are snow blowers, blades and mowers. I always keep my eyes out for a pto assembly for it in local wreckers but they're usually the first thing swiped from tractors if they got one. Tim, you never get to see Bourgault, I never get to see Kinze. The Brent's we have in common, though I probably don't see as many as you do. Here's anothor pic of the cart from the other side

Farm is down near Assiniboia. Currently my winter's spent 60 miles north in Moose Jaw. I've been through Kyle quite a few times through the years (usually on my way to Rosetown or Eston).

Nice to see some farming on a board I am familiar with!
I don't know if I have ever seen anyone using the small Bourgault cart, and advantage/disadvantage of the turret over a hinge like on other carts?
You got married in the fall?! what the crap were you thinking? LOL!

That cart was bought back in 04 when we were still running a 2188. But even still with the 8010 it seem to be the right size. We use a tandem and a semi for hauling and there's a 2nd tandem on reserve if needed. I think the pros outweigh the cons with that cart's auger. We got a few fields with power poles and stuff running across em and it's nice to swing the auger in and out as needed. topping up trucks you can swing the auger while unloading as well instead of creeping forward and back with the tractor. Down side is that the auger's sitting back further than most carts so it's a bit more of a stretch to see whats going on back there. There's also lots of u-joints/cv joints to grease in that turret. But I'd rather grease than replace.
Oh and I got married August 1 of 05. Just so happens that particular year in the photo (2007) we had started combining pea's the last week of July. Most years we're usually going on lentils and pea's somewhere between August 5-10. My wife's a good sport. Her b-day is in mid-May and typically we're still wrapping up seeding cereals, so it's usually "Happy Birthday wanna come for a ride"? I'm terrible, I know, hehehe.
