Very nice Clayton. Its great to see guys still wqorking with older equipment, restored or not, theyre great tractors. Keep up the good work

Do I see you talking on a cell phone while driving that tractor? I can barely hear my phone in a tractor with a cab, let along on an older open station. Thanks for the great pics, sure does help on these cold winter days.

Yep, I was on my phone. I was telling my friend Mike that I had it going and he needed to come check it out. The 730 has a really good muffler. I can even hear my phone ring when I am on that tractor. ;D

How did you do in that pull and how much weight you pulling?

I honestly can't remember how I did in that pull. I usually don't do that great due to the fact that my 70 is really heavy and usually ends up against an 820 or 830 or something considerably larger. With a full tank of fuel and me on it it weighs around 9500 pounds. It has water in the tires. I plan to remove it some day, but first priority is getting it running again. I dropped a valve last spring working feed ground. I still haven't had the money to put her back together. I am hoping to get it going this spring. Here is the wanged up piston. Here is the head. Notice the absence of the head of the exhaust valve. So here is what it looks like at the moment. I will be so glad to have it running again.
