All this is made for the North American market! Of course it's made by Claas! This beast is a 45ft wide, self-propelled disc-bine mower-conditioner. The cab rotates around and the outside mowers fold in to the side for transport. This thing can cut at speeds up to 15mph! Imagine cutting 45ft wide at 10mph... wouldn't take to long to cut down a field of alfalfa!!

Sweet. I remember seeing something similar up at Husker Harvest Days a couple years ago. I don't think it was that big though. That's a beast. I'd hate to be the operator though. Lots of things to watch for. Trey

the john deere 450r can cut 4 ton per acre alfalfa at 15 mph with a 16ft head

NH H8080 can cut 18ft wide at 15mph no prob. (no colour wars r intended)

Think of the cost with that thing...i work for a farmer and he has the r450, i would much rather drive a jd than that thing....no offense, but would be for experts
