If I remember it right, it was supposed to be Spec Cast bringing them out. At least was the last rumor of it I heard. Not sure if I will add these or not. IH/CIH brand planters wasn't popular in my area. But I think I will add the 24 row to have my CIH tractors something to pull. And since I have the new CIH drill coming. That way I have a corn planter to match.
Im staying away from the 36 row. After getting the John Deere from Spec, and seeing how big it was. That is too darn big for me.

Darn, no 12 rows. But I bet this will make a lot of people happy. I haven't seen any new planters from ertl in a long time since the 1200 and the JD 1790 and the 1770 they plan on releasing.

I agree as well. I would love to see some newer 12 rows myself. The new planter Ertl is coming out with. I intend to buy 2 of them. One to keep original, the other I will cut down into 12 rows.

It seems like 24 rows is the old 12 rows. We've ran 12's since the early 80's. Mostly now because that's all our strip-till setup can handle. I think these bigger planters are great. Although, alot of guys with hills and trees cuss them. Trey

They will look good behind the new Authentic Steigers. Minkler Farms will probably upgrade to a 24 row as long as they come in 30 inch rows.

We have too many sinkholes, hills and treelines for big equipment. Someone in our area uses a 32 row planter and it's way to big for the field because after headlands some of their rounds are only 100-200 ft long.

Our fields are too small even for that size planter. Most common size here is a 6 row.
