Cool pics. What is the liquid tank used for? I have seen them before but I never did know what they were for. Is for inocculant or something like that?

yes the tank is for propreonic acid it is a preservative to keep the hay from molding. It is not used on straw.

Thanks. Does it apply it to the bale after it is made or while it is being made?

Thanks. Does it apply it to the bale after it is made or while it is being made? That is applied while the bale is getting made, basically mixed into the hay. It helps dry the hay out and keep it from molding, that stuff is also used on silage.
