Yeah, Dad wasn't a bit happy with this purchase. The frame was pretty rusted up when we got it, that should've been the first indication of what was to come. It's low on horse too, 435hp Cat 3406. The boys like to complain about it. lol Thanks Guys! Trey Dang, our semi only has 350 hp with a cummins m11 and we like it just fine. I do wish our tandem had more hp as it only has 210 and take forever to get up to 55. We don't have to bad of winters here in Indiana, but they do like to spread more than enough salt. We had an instance where our dealer drove our combine back to our farm last year and got salt all over it from the road, and they forgot to bring back the cornhead with it on top of that and had to bring it to us later. Let's just say dad wasn't too happy about that one.

Well, when we're used to running 500hp rigs, you can tell the difference. It is a comfortable truck though. Trey

Trey Well ours is just a farm semi and we don't take it more than 30 miles from the farm, so that could be the major difference. My cousin always makes fun of us because his truck has 500 hp and says we slow him down hauling grain when he's behind us. How's the cabs in the Petes? Our cabs in our Internationals aren't anything to brag about.

The 379's are nice for work, but I don't think they would be a comfortable "cross-country" truck. Not much leg room honestly. You get cramped up pretty easily. We've never really ran anything else, Dad loves his peterbilts. Trey
